Author's Bio

Demetrice Jefferson was inspired to write Phoebe Goes to Earth while working as a substitute teacher for the Clark County School District in Las Vegas, Nevada. Demetrice was inspired to write a children's book series that combined history education with adventure and imagination to create a unique and unforgettable learning experience for all children. For two years Demetrice carefully worked on this idea, incorporating the suggestions and opinions of her many students, and in 2010 Demetrice published Book 1 of the historical adventure Phoebebe Goes to Earth. Today, Demetrice continues to work on the Phoebe Goes to Earth series and plans on releasing Book 2 soon!

This children's book series will mark specific moments throughout history as Phoebe continues to visit earth, and at the end of each book there is a question page that quizzes readers about facts in the story.
